Bridge Work

A bridge is used to cover a gap where there is a tooth missing. Crowns are fitted to the teeth either side of the gap with a false tooth attached to them which fills the space.

Bridges are only possible if you have enough strong teeth either side of the gap to support the bridge.

Bridges can be made from a variety of materials including porcelain bonded to precious metals, sometimes with other non-precious metals used for strength. It is also possible to have bridges that are entirely made from a strong kind of porcelain.

We can help you decide if this is the best method for you to replace a missing tooth.
